AN’s I-Day Bootcamp

USNA Class of 2027 – Last Minute Q & A

I remember feeling completely unprepared and overwhelmed until some experienced parents came around us and poured information that made navigating I-Day and the journey much better. Lots of questions, lots of not knowing, and lots of mixed feelings: pride, joy, sadness, worry, all mixed into one giant rollercoaster of emotion.

As I-Day approaches, I thought I would host a last minute Q&A, to give some context on the day, what to expect, and pour information into the new parents. You will notice as you listen and as I say often, that the one constant is change. Things are always changing at USNA and the Big Navy, but that is OK. Experienced parents are here for you – we have you Six and will walk with you as you get used to always being “Semper Gumby”.
